No Place like home.
So for starters all you people making $176,000 a year keep moving nothing to see here.

Anyone left? Oh there you are okay, let’s talk.

So me like you, or for that matter all of us have more than likely gotten pissed at work to the point of putting your hands up and screaming

 “I’m going Home”

Question: how many times have you actually follow though and left?

Be honest 2 maybe 3 times, why so few because
“You have accountability & responsibility to others”
What’s that again accountability & responsibility to others?

Let me list a few you can add your own if you wish
Your wife, family, the people you owe money to, your fellow co workers and yes even more important yourself.

Speaking for myself I never went to any type of formal culinary school so I learned my trade by hands on baptism under fire doing, Some would say not the best way to learn but, I’ve done pretty well for
myself thanks.

So this post goes out to the GOP or to single out one
self-righteous schmuck a one

Eric Cantor

Yes I know the democrats at times are no better and with sugar plums in our heads and love in our hearts we can say “Both sides suck”

But the question still is with all there is to lose

How do you just call it quits and Go Home?

Your making $176 thousand dollars of TAX PAYER money a year and

  YOUR GOING HOME TO SULK?

I wonder if it’s not time to start our elected officials out at Minimum wage say $5.65 an hour and let them prove their worth  like the rest of us good Hardworking Taxpaying people have to  do.

I always thought that should be a
Christmas Carol

A Happy and Merry to all
Thank You

Yeah, Thanks
You mean of the 189 million Powerball tickets sold
 i didn’t win?
Shit that sucks, so I have to go to work today?

So America and I’m sure some places in the world all held their collective breath when last night’s $580 million dollar Powerball numbers were drawn. You have to admit that for one fleeing minute after you bought your
ticket you thought This is it” Fiscal Cliff My Ass,

Sue and I are moving to Cheffervile

We are going to buy a house just for my
 model railroad.
Come on admit it we all have that one dream.

But then again at 54 I have been living that
Dream.

Sometimes

So as we go into this the most sentimental time of the year,  we reflect back on the year that was in our own personally lives. Highlights from this past year for me are easy my wife Susan  tops the list of thank again. The rest can be summed up in 3 words “Full Time
Employment”. So to all my friends at Putt Ridge I say thank you.

So for the last year or so there has been a positive feeling of going and growing in our humble
home, Sure like many we have had are setbacks, one step up, four steps back. But on the whole it has been a year to take a collective sigh and a prayer of thanks
to all involved in our resurgence. Yes the truck needs new tires and more plumbing is needed downstairs, and more heating oil is needed. But these are  wants of normalcy not of desperation, trust me for the last 3 years desperation was our only friend.

When I was in the ER a few weeks ago for a fractured rib the  doctor told me how luckily I was that the fall I took didn’t damage my kidney.

Luckily?

I heard that before.

To all our friends and family you are in our thoughts and
prayers

 Susan and I

Wish you a Happy and Healthy
Thanksgiving

YES WE DID
Have you noticed how not just the Republicans but those “poor cash rich Job Creators” are now in agreement with the thought of raising taxes? So what caused this incredible turn of events.

WE DID

That’s right us the VOTER, we are happy to say we saw though the make believe Fuzzy math of the Ryan budget plan.

The American Voter Rationalized the difference of “legitimate Rape” and state sponsored “vaginal probes” and the possible overturning of Roe v Wade.

Like you I know many friends who didn’t vote, with the
excuse

 “It doesn’t matter who wins”

Mitt Romney once said that the American people aren’t Stupid I have mixed  feelings about that, yes we are busy people in hectic times, but this too is not
an excuse to avoid voting.

If this election teaches us anything it should be that Issues matter and that all politics are local.

Remember Wisconsin when Republican Gov. Scott Walker (friend of Paul Ryan) voted at midnight to try to abolish all Union contracts thus ending labor rights as we know it today.

Steve Schmitt who ran the McCain Palin campaign in 2008 and is now and contributor to  MSNBC, got it right on election night when he said

“Right wing talk radio does not
speak for America”

I very proud that President Obama won again, and yes I cried just like I did in 2008

I voted for him again because of 2 issues

1. Healthcare for all, yes the bill needs help and I wish it had single payer but it’s a start.

2. The Hope hotline aka. .The making homes affordable program, this has helped many millions of people to adjust their mortgages and let them
stay in their homes though hard times.

Alive and Well
So I will admit to you that since Saturday morning when I found out that I fractured a rib after I fell last Wednesday night in the snow I’m been on a steady diet of Percocet and Advil, not to mention learning how to
sleep in a rocking chair, and grabbing the family jewels every time I cough or sneeze.

While at church this morning I wonder, how many Gods are up there in heaven?

To date there are 22 major religions, thank you Dr. Google

So does that mean that there are 22 different Gods?
Well off the top I would say No.

Without getting to deep I would think that all religions are faith based, and that they all leaned towards “your everlasting life” when your time is done here on mother earth. So I might be going out on the olive branch a
bit far when I say that all religions are fundamentally the same in one aspect of the belief of one God.

So what is so special about the Evangelical Christian?
 (Source: nae.net)

What is an Evangelical?

Evangelicals take the Bible seriously and believe in Jesus
Christ as Savior and Lord.
The term “evangelical” comes from the Greek word euangelion, meaning “the good news” or the “gospel.” Thus, the evangelical faith focuses on the “good news” of salvation brought to sinners by Jesus Christ.

We are a vibrant and diverse group, including believers found in many churches, denominations and nations. Our community brings together Reformed, Holiness, Anabaptist, Pentecostal, Charismatic and other traditions. Our core theological convictions provide unity in the midst of our diversity. The NAE Statement of Faith offers a standard for these evangelical convictions.

Conversionism: the belief that lives need to be transformed through a “born-again” experience and a life long process of following Jesus.

Activism: the expression and demonstration of the gospel in missionary and social reform efforts

Biblicism: a high regard for and obedience to the Bible as the ultimate authority

Crucicentrism: a stress on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross as making possible the demption  humanity

I wrote this once before and I will write it again

They are just as full of shit as the next guy.

Enter Mike Huckabee and hishell fire awaits if you vote for Obama comment.

See comments like this make me ask

How does he know?

All these self righteous, pretty dam wealthy bags of wind all blast this shit and the sad truth is is we take it as religion. So God has nothing better to do than strike down the poor? Or making sure that the Bush tax
cuts stay in place till death do us part? Really? Is this why I went to Catholic school for eight years?

I think the God I pray to has to be looking down and thinking

“What did Hucabee say now?”

Growing up I remember the Urban League commercials, their hook line was:

A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE

On this Veterans Day I say to all thank you and may
  God Bless you

Summer 2012 at 1B
Let’s begin with I love mowing my lawn, my neighbor Gasper and I have this ongoing thing called the “Ceremonial first Mow”this usually happens the first week in April when the grass starts to grow like  crazing, I think he’s winning this contest but then again he’s retired and it’s all in fun anyway.
I do a lot of thinking while mowing, how will we pay for
this? Did we pay that? And then you have days like today when the mowing Gods open your mind to what’s really significant  in this thing called Life. Susan and I
are into our 35 month of this of our “Comeback tour” and how yesterday we took a  big step forward to help enhance our lives from today on. Hell it hasn’t been easy, it sure has hell hasn’t been much fun, but it’s been an amazing journey filled with lows lower then low and something so simple as “Look we still have cable” can make you cry like a newborn. I keep telling Sue “honey we are luckier than most these days”but solace only goes so far, I mean, where did our paychecks go? We joke around saying to each other “Honey I get think of another person I rather go through this with” Comedy is
one of God’s greatest gifts.

Stephen your sister and I had many Happy milestones this past year none more important than Susan working fulltime, and catching up on all our past bills. You should be very proud of her she took more body blows than a
prize fighter and never once hit the canvass. I kiss her everyday and say Thank God she’s on my side because we have so much more to do.
And about our neighbors Gasper and Julie, or as we call them our extended family were not too sure who adopted who, but with their prayers, Love and best wishes Susan and I have a lot to look forward too.

Happy 54th Birthday Stephen
We love you and miss you dearly

See Google or You Tube
Outside of watching moderate Mitt sucking up to President Obama on foreign policy the other night, I learned a new campaign phrase
“Mitt wasn’t candid about that comment” said right winger talker Sean Hanity on his show yesterday.

CANDID I screamed as I was going westbound on I-84 towards home. I thought hmm “I have heard this word a lot this campaign season”
I see so Candid is the nw buzz word for LAIR, it just sounds better.

So you can run for the highest office in our land and Twist and turn & BULLSHIT your way in. And even more pathetic “WE ARE ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN”

One more thing will someone please tell Mitt Romney & Mr. Ryan that there is a new thing called
GOOGLE & YOU TUBE

So when you say one thing in Nevada and say the opposite thing in Ohio

Dude your only kidding yourself with all respect, again
however,
“WE ARE ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN”

Huh?
Okay so President Obama lost the first debate. Duh historically that’s not anything new.

My question is Why are the Republicans so against him.

 (Source:swampland.time.com Aug. 23rd 2012)

TIME just published “The Party of No,” an article adapted from my new book, The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama
Era
. It reveals some of my reporting on the
Republican plot to obstruct President Obama before he even took office,  including secret meetings led by House GOP  whip Eric Cantor (in December 2008) and Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell  (in early January 2009) in which they laid out their daring (though cynical and
political) no-honeymoon strategy of all-out resistance to a popular  President-elect during an economic emergency. “If he was for it,” former Ohio
Senator George Voinovich explained,“we had to be against it.” The excerpt includes a special bonus nugget of Mitt Romney dissing the Tea Party. But as we say in the sales world: There’s more! I’m going to be blogging some of the news and larger themes from the book here at TIME.com, and I’ll kick it off  with more scenes from the early days of the Republican strategy of No. Read on
to hear what Joe Biden’s sources in the Senate GOP were telling him, some candid pillow talk between a Republican staffer and an Obama aide, and a top Republican admitting his party didn’t want to “play.”I’ll start with a scene I consider a turning point in the Obama era, when the new President went to the Hill to
extend his hand and the GOP spurned it.

The whole link to the story

I can go I and list the ongoing voter suppression in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Ohio but we all know this already.

So was there or is there an ongoing conspiracy
against this President?

 This Just in…….

 (Source:  nbcpolitics.nbcnews.com, Oct. 19 2012)

A campaign worker linked to a controversial Republican  consulting firm has been arrested in Virginia and charged with throwing voter registration forms into a dumpster.

The suspect, Colin Small, 31, was described by a local
law enforcement official as a "supervisor" in a Republican Party financed operation to register voters in Rockingham County in rural Virginia, a key swing
state in the Nov. 6 election. He was arrested after a local business owner in the same Harrisonburg, Va., shopping center where the local GOP campaign headquarters is located spotted Small tossing a bag into the trash, according to a statement Thursday by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s office. The bag was later found to contain eight voter registration forms, it said. The arrest was reported Thursday night by WWBT-TV in
Richmond.

The case comes on the heels of a controversy last month over the activities of Strategic Allied Consulting, an Arizona based consulting firm that was paid $3 million by the Republican National Committee this year to
register voters in five battleground states, including Virginia. The firm, run by veteran GOP operative Nathan Sproul, was recently fired by the RNC following
reports that its workers had submitted hundreds of suspicious voter registration forms in Florida.

Is there an ongoing conspiracy against this President?
